Arctic Descent is my personal brand inspired by my love for the outdoors, outerwear, and the Pacific Northwest. The name “Arctic Descent” was based on my final CAD project during my junior year which focused on garments for a colder climate. The aesthetic of the brand is dreary and mysterious by utilizing darker tones and visuals. During the COVID-19 pandemic I took the opportunity to learn more about screen printing and went on to build an online store using Shopify. I created graphics such as the “Shadow Figures” tee that can be seen being worn in my senior collection as an undershirt, it is also in the mock-ups tab.
